What trading actually does to most accounts.
Last updated 27 August 2026
Trading foreign exchange, contracts for difference and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk. Leverage works in both directions and can destroy an account faster than it can grow one.
The majority of retail investor accounts lose money. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
A rank on TraderFlow describes how one trading account has behaved in the past, on data read from Myfxbook. It is a measurement, not a forecast.
A high rank does not mean a trader will remain profitable, that their method suits your circumstances, or that copying them will work. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
Ranks are only as good as the data behind them. Where an account's data is stale or incomplete, we say so on the profile rather than quietly ranking it anyway.
Mentors are traders who met a rank and verification standard. They are not licensed advisers, they are not vetted by us for the quality of their teaching, and we do not endorse what they sell.
No one on TraderFlow may promise a return, guarantee a result, or manage your money. If someone does, report the listing.
Every trading decision you make is yours. Consider taking advice from someone licensed in your jurisdiction before acting on anything you read here.
